X-Rays, also called plain film radiography and fluoroscopy have been the mainstay of diagnostic radiology for many years. General X-Rays are often the first radiological exams performed on a patient.

Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy, a type of X-Ray, allows the radiologist to examine the patient in real time using a monitor, so that the patient’s anatomy is imaged and viewed as it functions.

Advanced technology allows our team to use the lowest possible doses of radiation in many tests and still provide detailed exams. The benefits of this imaging far outweigh any risks from the small amount of radiation that patients receive.

X-Rays require a script from a medical provider. Typical scan time is approximately 15-30 minutes, depending on the exam ordered.
