| She is always willing to expand her repertoire and never shirks additional challenges. She has created lunch and learns, has improved the new employee orientation program, is always seeking ways to improve recruiting and RRC’s image with recruits. She never tires of finding ways to improve.
Recently she has been particularly helpful with the Kronos database, training our new HR employee Jenny, and auditing our conversion of Kronos to MAS. She has stepped up to the plate and has managed to do hours of analysis, problem solving and correction. And sometimes if you’ve worked with our computer systems, you know that this can be frustrating!! (And this is not her core job!)
All of this, and she maintains a positive, caring attitude and great loyalty to RRC and its employees. She is a role model for us all. I am proud to have her on the HR team and pleased to make this recommendation.
STAR Runners-up
Ellie Hepworth, Technical Support, Cay West
Ellie played a large contribution in keeping the MR schedule reasonably on track on Friday Oct. 27 th. As I was working by myself with a regular schedule without the benefit of a paramedic’s help, Ellie, despite attending to other duties in CT and X-ray was incredibly attentive and vigilant to the need to get patients ready for me and start their I/V/ as needed. Thank you so much.
Louis Hernandez, Maintenance, 3660
Both Ken and Louis did an outstanding job in making air conditioning adjustments to the MRI equipment room at Cay West. Since the installation of the MR unit the cool air wasn’t being cycled to the front of the room thus not properly cooling the support equipment to the MRI. Ken and Louis installed two additional air ducts in order to push additional cool air to the front of the equipment room. They saved the company considerable money in equipment downtime and parts. Thanks! to the maintenance department and their continuing efforts to support service in order to keep the facility imaging equipment running.
