David H. Turkel, M.D., M.B.A., Board Member of Radiology Regional Center, is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he earned a bachelors of science degree in electrical engineering. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and a fellowship in neuroradiology at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston. For several years, Dr. Turkel maintained an appointment at the University of Miami, Department of Radiology, in musculoskeletal radiology. He also possesses a masters in business administration from the University of Miami. Dr. Turkel joined Radiology Regional Center in 1996.
Dr. Turkel is certified by the American Board of Radiology and has received a Certification of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology from the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Turkel holds a number of U.S. patents for his medical innovations. |
